Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 25g cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 5g baking powder (optional – for a fluffier texture)
- 1 cup rolled oats (or quick oats)
- Optional: banana slices or chopped nuts for topping
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease or line a small loaf pan or muffin tin.
- Blend bananas, eggs, cocoa powder, oats, and baking powder in a blender or food processor until smooth. (Or mash bananas by hand and mix everything in a bowl if you prefer a rustic texture.)
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan or muffin molds.
- Top with banana slices or nuts if using.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes (muffins) or 30–35 minutes (loaf) — until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before slicing. Enjoy warm or cold!
Notes:
- The ripe bananas naturally sweeten the cake — no added sugar needed.
- Want extra richness? Add a spoonful of peanut butter or a few dark chocolate chips (if you’re okay with a tiny bit of sugar).
