Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 ¼ cups milk
1 large egg
3 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, combine milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined—don’t overmix.
- Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on top, then flip and cook the other side until golden.
- Serve warm with butter, syrup, or your favorite toppings.
Optional: Add chocolate chips or blueberries to the batter for a fun twist!
