Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup ice-cold water

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the ice-cold water, stirring until you get a smooth batter (it should be thick but pourable).
  3. Dip your shrimp, veggies, or other items into the batter, letting excess drip off.
  4. Fry in hot oil (350°F/175°C) until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot!
