Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup ice-cold water
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the ice-cold water, stirring until you get a smooth batter (it should be thick but pourable).
- Dip your shrimp, veggies, or other items into the batter, letting excess drip off.
- Fry in hot oil (350°F/175°C) until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot!
