Sweet, sticky, and savory—perfect over rice or noodles!
You’ll Need:
1 lb chicken (thighs or breast), cut into strips
Salt & pepper
1 tbsp oil
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup honey or brown sugar
2 tbsp vinegar (rice or apple cider)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water
Quick Steps:
- Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper.
- Sear in oil over medium-high heat until golden and almost cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, simmer soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and ginger until slightly thick.
- Whisk together cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken.
- Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat until caramelized.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
